I create patterns and illustrations inspired by the BIG WIDE WORLD. Always looking up, down and around.

I am an illustrator, surface pattern designer and lover of all things patterned. This passion for the pattern has led me to create repeat patterns, artworks and illustrations that are a glimpse into how I see the world and the connections between art and nature.

These works I create are layered with textures, colour and shape to evoke the memories of my childhood bush and coastal explorations and how I love being close to both.

All designs start life hand drawn and painted, drawing inspiration from the big wide world, especially the botanical world. My work combines bold colour palettes of watercolour and gouache with linework illustrations. Once painted and drawn, I digitise it to create botanical,

sometimes whimsical, repeat patterns and illustrations revealing a wanderlust for the world around.

Being able to create how I see the world is the best job in the world.
